Rocío Ramos Morrison
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga teacher. She is the director of the Yoga Teacher Training Program (200h and +300h).
I discovered yoga in 2000 and since then have been dedicated to practicing and studying, having trained in the United States, America, Europe, Indonesia and Barcelona, Spain. In 2003, inspired by the deep power of yoga in myself, I began to think about sharing and teaching it, an idea which started taking shape at the end of 2005. My practice and my teaching take elements from different styles: dynamic styles (dynamic hatha yoga, vinyasa, flow, power yoga), styles focused on alignment( iyengar, anusara) and more therapeutic styles (yin, restorative).
I have completed diverse Yoga teachers Trainings: Vinyasa yoga with Brahmani yoga in India (+300h YAR), Vinyasa yoga in Yoga Arts in Bali, Indonesia (200h YAR), Acroyoga in California (170h) and Hatha Yoga in Barcelona (200h).
I am especially grateful to the masters who have crossed my life path: Douglas Reeding, Britget Woods-Kramer, Emil E. Wendel, Louisa Sear, Danilo Hernandez, Jason Crandell, Bryan Kest, and all my teachers along the way.
Since 2005 I have been teaching yoga in Yoga & Yoga Barcelona. I have also worked in other Yoga Centers, in the Sports Technique Center for Sincronized Swimming in Esplugues (Spain) and several Civic Centers in Barcelona. I was honored to be asked to participate as a teacher in the first Barcelona Yoga Conference. From 1996 to 2002 I worked as a group leader for personal development workshops in LILITH in Santiago de Compostela (Spain), courses that included different types of bodywork.
"Yoga is the journey back home, a journey to this sacred place within ourselves”
